Description
The Bandit Intimidator 21XP drum chipper is the largest hand-fed chipper offered. Although rated as a 21-inch capacity, the throat opening is 26.25 inches high x 24.5 inches wide allowing the unit to process large diameter material. The powerful feed system generates approximately 10,824 pounds of pulling power. It’s standard hydraulic lift cylinder further enhances productivity by providing hydraulic down pressure as needed, reducing chainsaw work. These combinations make the Bandit Intimidator 21XP a great solution for a wide array of projects consisting of large diameter chipping.
Choose from a variety of engines based on each users specific chipping needs ranging from 174 to 350 horsepower. Rear mounted knuckle boom loaders have become increasingly popular on the Bandit Intimidator 21XP. Two loader options are offered on the 21XP. Option number one is a Bandit manufactured loader providing side to side swing of 45 degrees. Optino number two is a loader purchased from Kesla featuring 360 degrees of swing with more pulling and lifting power compared to the Bandit loader.
Equipped with a 37” diameter drum the 21XP allows much of the material to be chipped on the bottom half of the drum, with the grain of the wood like a disc style chipper. Material is chipped using less energy and less vibration, maximizing fuel economy and reducing maintenance.
